A tech from The Computer Fix, with your authorization, can log into your computer and perform tasks as if your computer was sitting in front of them at the shop. These tasks including scanning and removing malware and viruses that your normal anti-virus programs can not. Internet browsers will be cleaned and locked down for added security while online. The tech will then fix underlining issues with the Windows Operating System, including performing the latest updates. This generally will leave your system running faster and more secure. The Computer tech will be sending you an email. There will be a link in the email that will prompt you to download our secure remote connection management application. Click on the link, and download the file. Install the program and select yes when prompted. This will create the remote connection. Once connected, the tech will begin performing the repair. Some things you will be able to watch and some thing will be performed in the background. It will be best not to use your computer during this time but be present as there is a chance the tech will need your assistance.
